Integration of ITSM (Change Management) and SAM

Change management is a core ITSM function, which often has a significant impact on software licence costs in the data centre. This impact often goes unnoticed due to the time and effort required to create an accurate projection of the impact based on the changes being proposed.  

In this use case we automatically project software licence costs based on proposed changes to configuration items. Licence change projections are integrated and considered within the change approval process.
