Our alliance partner Appian provides a low-code automation platform that accelerates the creation of high-impact business applications. Many of KPMG's biggest clients and some of the world's largest organizations use Appian's applications to improve customer experience, to achieve operational excellence, and simplify global risk management. Through Appian, we can pull together information from a variety of sources to produce a single view of the customer. This means customer service representatives are able to complete tasks in one single space, increasing the efficiency of operations. It is also possible to integrate Appian with Google Cloud Platform Services, including Vision APIs and Maps APIs as well as other 3rd party lookup services such as Salesforce. In our demo case, an accident has occurred between two vehicles. The user takes photos of the damage and gets the other driver’s information. She user her insurance company’s mobile app to make a claim and upload the images. The insurance company’s agent immediately has all the information ready for the follow-up phone call. The agent can use automated verification to assess the details of both claim parties. This creates a seamless process and the understanding builds trust and loyalty with the customer. Image classification helps the agent in processing the claim and manage the customer’s expectations accurately. An automated SMS confirmation is sent to the customer to keep her informed of progress.
